Premier Traditional Homes has opened their stunning Albany Attic display at Kaduna Park, blending the best of traditional farmhouse design with contemporary comforts.
With its soaring cathedral ceilings, expansive windows, huge attic space and commitment to quality, Premier’s Sales and Marketing Manager Wayne Colomb said the team behind the Albany Attic shared a vision to create ‘something special’.
“The home has a real sense of drama, the way the windows cast shadows across the walls, the way the light ebbs and flows throughout the day. It has the feel of a home created with a lot of love and care,” Mr Colomb said.
Premier is known for incorporating attics into their designs, and the Albany takes the concept of the attic to a whole new level. From the street, the attic gives the facade beautiful external lines, while internally, it offers a second storey space so large and versatile that its use is only limited by your imagination.
“We really thought about what people need in 2023 and working from home is definitely a trend so one section of the attic forms a home office,” explained Wayne.
The rest of the attic space could be utilised as a billiard room, gym, teenage retreat, music room, art studio or home theatre.
When first entering the home, to the right you see the front living room with its 10 foot ceilings, fireplace and built-in bookcase. Further down the hall is the master suite on the left and three generous kids’ bedrooms featuring 10 foot ceilings, built-in robes and a study nook.
It is the family bathroom that makes the biggest impression thanks to a five and a half meter void which funnels light into the centrally located bathroom.
The master suite, designed with the feel of a luxe hotel, has an ample window seat and fully fitted walk-in robe. The ensuite has a free standing bath, generous double shower and separate toilet.
Running the full width of the home, the combined family/dining/kitchen also has cathedral ceilings with scissor trusses creating a voluminous open feel. The chic neutral kitchen with its hand crafted joinery, is complemented by an adjoining butler’s pantry, boasting full height folding windows that open in the warmer months to the alfresco area.
Parklea General Manager Corporate Jarod Mills said he was confident the Albany Attic would draw buyers to Kaduna Park from all over Melbourne and the regions.
“Premier have created something truly special in the Albany. I encourage people to visit our new display village to see this magnificent house and appreciate its stunning design for themselves.”
